  7. Ensure booklet is finished • There are inserts for each of the LECTURES posted on my DP: dp.davincischools.org/staff/blarkin • Staple or tape them in if you are missing notes or cannot read your notes • Remember, this will be used for SLCs and POLs. I expect to see completed packets! (That means lectures AND videos)

  8. Calculator • Bring a calculator to the exam • Phones will not be allowed • You have until next week to ensure you have a calculator • You must be able to square AND square root numbers

  9. Review • Go through the packet • We will work on problems #1-10 today • There is paper on your table for scratch work, but do not lose the papers, otherwise you won’t have them for study materials. Alternatively, you can write in a notebook.

Speech • For your RG, you must give a three minute speech • Each person should speak for one minute each (assuming you have three group members) • Parts of the speech • How does your rube goldberg decoration represent your topic? • What are three facts about your topic? • What is a possible solution to your topic? • How does your final step represent your topic? • Where do you see kinetic energy? • Where do you see potential energy? • Where do you see conversion of energy?

  26. Store • Each ticket will get you a certain amount of a material • You cannot get multiple of the same materials • Paper is unlimited

  27. Building • Use Checklist • Everyone should be participating • Your topic must be seen throughout the RG, and you must justify how your “final step” or “ultimate task” is related to your topic.
