Proposed ASC Payment Rule • 2014 proposed OPPS Updates: • ASCs .9% HOPDs 1.8% • No new procedures for ASCs in 2014 • Final rule to be published by CMS on November 27th • Publication delayed by government shutdown • Some procedures will get a significant reimbursement increase, e.g., GI procedure reimbursement increasing by 8%
