  3. Source Selection • Review of sources including secret sources • about 500 Gb from NTIA

Test design • Number of tests • Proponents: DT (1, HD), OPTICOM (1, any), SwissQual (1, WVGA/VGA), Yonsei (3, any) • ILGS: Ghent 1 HD, Acreo 1 any, AGH 1 HD, FUB 1 HD, Nantes 1 HD • Total number of tests: 11 • HD 6 tests: DT any, Ghent ??, AGH 25p, FUB ??, Nantes 25p/30p/50i, Yonsei 30p/60i • WVGA 3 tests: SwissQual 25/30, Acreo 25/30. Yonsei 25/30 • VGA 2 tests: Yonsei 25/30 OPTICOM 25/30 • Test design • Number of sources: 9 -16 • Number of HRCS: 10-15 • Common sets: 24

  5. Schedule • Test design by ILGs and proponents: (July 31, it is recommended that design lab provides draft test designs by July 15, preferably June 30. Review process may take two weeks). • Test design review by ILGs and proponents: (August 31, 2012). • ILG will send required SRCs to each lab. (Sep. 1 , 2012) • ILG creates common sets and send them to ILG/Proponents. (Sep. 1 , 2012) • The relevant organizations generate the PVSs, using the scenes that were sent to them and send all the PVSs to a common point of contact who will distribute them to ILGs and proponents. (Sep. 30 , 2012) • Proponents check calibration of all PVSs and identify potential problems. They may ask the ILG to review the selection of test material and replace if necessary. (Oct. 31 , 2012)

Schedule • If a proponent or ILG testlab believes that any experiment is unbalanced in terms of qualities or have calibration problems, they may ask the ILG to review the selection of test material. If a majority of ILG agrees, then selection of PVSs will be amended. An even distribution of qualities from excellent to bad is desirable. (Oct. 31 , 2012) • ILGs and proponents run their subject test & submits results to the ILG. (Nov. 30 , 2012). • Proponents submit their objective data. (Nov. 30 , 2012) • Verification of submitted models by ILG (Dec. 31 , 2012) • ILG distribute subjective data and draft statistical analysis to the proponents and other ILG (Dec. 31, 2012) • ILG distribute objective data to the proponents and other ILG (Dec. 31, 2012) • Statistical analysis (Jan. 31, 2013) • Draft final report (Feb. 28, 2013)
