  1. ACCELERATION – TIME Promo Video

  2. FIRSTWEEK WE LEARNED FROM MOSES: Ps 90: 12 Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom. • Teach us to number our days. In other words, literally, teach us to live as if our days are numbered. • I acknowledge my time is limited and since it is limited, since my days are numbered, show me what I am to do with the days & time that I have left.

  3. PRIORITY determines CAPACITY Put God in First and everything else should be prioritized around Him! When the God rock goes in first & became the center, it creates healthy limits on the others. • So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Matt 6:31-33

  4. Redeeming The Time

  5. 14 This is why it is said: "Wake up, sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you." • 15Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, • 16 making the most of every opportunity (redeeming the time – NKJV), because the days are evil. • 17Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord's will is. Eph 5: 15-17

  6. Time = There are three Greek words used in the Bible to refer to time: - Hora is translated “hour” - Chrono from which we get our English Chronological refers to time in general, a period or measured time.
 - Kairos, the word used in this context and it refers to an Opportunity.

  7. There is a cumulative value to invest small amounts of time in certain activities over a long period. • There is almost no value in one deposit/exercising once or twice a month, dinner with family, a date, attending church once, or a quiet time. No one has ever walked up after you’ve exercised one time and said, “Wow . . .” • There are rarely any immediate consequences for neglecting a single installment of time in any particular arena of life.

  8. Neglect is cumulative as well. • Neglect is easy. Takes no effort. But the results are cumulative. • Because of Neglect some things break and can’t be fixed. But you won’t know until you’ve spent thousands of dollars trying. • Neglect over time is oftentimes a point of no return, where you can never recapture what is lost. • Neglect = Procrastination

  9. There is no cumulative value to the random things we allow to interfere with the important things. • Example: There’s no cumulative value to two extra hours of sleep, two extra hours of the Internet, one extra hour of video games, one extra hour of messing around & whatever else you do over the important things. If you took all that stuff and added it up, you have nothing.

  10. Those are nothing new! So, if you were God and you loved you, What advice would you give you regarding your time?

  11. 14 This is why it is said: "Wake up, sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you." • 15Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, • 16 making the most of every opportunity (redeeming the time – NKJV), because the days are evil. • 17Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord's will is. Eph 5: 15-17

  12. Redeeming the time (Kairos), because the days are evil. • Redeeming the time means Getting the full value out of your time. Using time wisely. • Stupid People - Waste Opportunity Normal People - Wait for Opportunity Wise People - SeizeOpportunity • “Because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord's will is.”

  13. 34“My food,” said Jesus, “is to do the will of him who sent me and to finish his work. 35 Don’t you have a saying, ‘It’s still four months until harvest’? I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest. John 4:24-25 OPEN YOUR EYES & SEE HOW SHOULD YOU USE YOUR TIME? What is your biggest obstacle? What are you willing to do about it?
