  28. Restoring Relationships in the Workplace--Thank God it’s Monday! Step One of Seven -- in mending broken relationships: Observe and acknowledge what happened Betrayal is experienced as a loss To heal and rebuild trust, it’s important to acknowledge that loss Recognize its impact on you and them Example…gossiping and it gets back to that person…

  29. Restoring Relationships in the Workplace--Thank God it’s Monday! Step Two of Seven -- in mending broken relationships: Allow feelings to surface Give yourself permission to feel your emotions and express them Write them down, talk them through with a close friend or coworker, or release through them exercise Example…criticizing a subordinate’s work in a staff meeting…

Consider the choices and now opportunities, including benefits Example…reframing the experience of gossiping…

  32. Restoring Relationships in the Workplace--Thank God it’s Monday!
