GOLD Activities • What Should our Program Do? • Hold at least 2 non-technical programs/year • Work with PACE, Educational Activities, Student Branches and other Chairs to coordinate programs • Have Fun! • Who Should Attend GOLD Programs? • Everyone! Although GOLD is tailored toward the recent graduate, but don’t check ID’s!

  3. What is GOLD Doing in 2006? • Online Seminars – Networking in December 2005 • Mentoring Project • 10 Year Anniversary! • Student Transition Project • Outreach to Technical Societies • GOLDrush Newsletter - quarterly

  5. WIE Goals • Promote the entry into and retention of women in engineering programs • Promote IEEE membership and retention of IEEE women members • Enhance career advancement of women in the profession

  6. Affinity GroupIdentification & Recruitment • SAMIEEE • Create Mailing Lists • Create E-Mail Lists • Student Branches • Recruit Graduating Student Branch Leaders (New GSM grade) • Hold joint social event for graduating students-'How to' guide to be distributed this year

  7. Affinity Group Funding • Section • $200 from host group (GOLD or WIE) • Special Project Funding (WIE if approved)
