  1. Our animal is a Cardinal By Matt Kane and Griffin Urban

  2. What they look like Cardinals are red. Female cardinals are brownish with a little bit of red on it’s head. The male is bright red and on the edge of the feathers there is a line of black. Both kinds of cardinals are 7 to 9 inches tall. It weighs one and a half ounce.

  3. Cardinal babies Females lay 3 or 4 eggs at a time. When their born they are slimy and they have less feathers.

  4. Where they live The cardinal can be found through the whole United States.

  5. What they eat Cardinals eat berries, fruits, and inscts.With it’s beak they crack stuff open like seeds and other hard things.

  6. It’s Predators The cardinals predators are snakes, black racers, blue jays, foxes, squirrels, and red squirrels.

  7. How Long They Live They live for three years.

  8. Why we like our animal We like this animal because it is the bird of Ohio.
