  3. Charity Britton • I have been with the school district for 13 years. • It is my #1 goal to have your child discover the “Love of Learning” and be prepared for middle school! • I truly feel I have the BEST job in the world! Teaching is my passion!!! 

  4. MISSION STATEMENT • The mission of the CVUSD is to meet the academic, cultural, social and individual needs of students in order to prepare them to make a meaningful contribution to a democratic society.

  5. Daily Schedule • 8:15 - 8:30 Morning routine • 8:30 – 10:30 Period 1 Language Arts (Transition Time) • 10:30-10:50 RECESS • 10:50-12:15 Period 2 Math (Transition Time) • 12:15 – 1:00 LUNCH • 1:00- 2:00 Period 3 Science/Soc. St. (Transition Time) • 2:00 – 2:30 Writing • 2:30 – 2:40 Clean-up/ Dismissal EARLY DISMISSAL Tuesdays @1:30 SPECIALISTS Computer Lab Music PE

CLASSROOM DISCIPLINE… • I strongly believe in POSTIVE reinforcement, and I have many ways to create this environment! • Marble Jar: whole class • Tickets: individual • Table points: “team” • Incentive Charts: Homework and Classwork • Fabulous Fun Friday!! • I focus on the positive behaviors, and most students strive for that  • Our class is a TEAM and our “motto” is NO WORRIES!!!

Our job, like the gardener’s, is to meet their needs as best as we can: to give proper nourishment, love, attention and caring and to hope for the BEST.
