  5. Between what two numbers does the answer lie? It is between 5 and 6. Each dog will get 5 pounds of food. How many pounds are left over? 9×5=45 50-45=5

  6. Now divide the remaining 5 pounds of food among the 9 dogs. 5 ÷ 9 =
