  2. USAREC AFTB PROGRAM Course Objectives Students will . . . . . . • Become familiar with the organizational structure of the USAREC AFTB Program • Become familiar with the goals and standards for Master Trainers and Instructors • Check their knowledge by completing an assessment

  3. USAREC AFTB PROGRAM Purpose: To enhance personal and Family preparedness for personnel assigned to USAREC Mission: To educate and train Recruiting Soldier and Family members in a wide variety of knowledge, skills, and behaviors designed to enhance self-reliance and preparedness to meet the challenges of USAREC.

  4. Students AFTB Pillar of Responsibility and Support Company/Station Instructors Local Office Program Manager Battalion SFA Advisory Council Supporting Agency Recruiting Battalion Local Commander Company/Station Commander HQ, USAREC Army Command TRADOC DA-CFSC

  5. Master Trainer Standards • Master Trainers have a one year commitment • Work under the guidance and supervision of SFA • Assists SFA in accomplishing goal of one instructor per recruiting company • Are not limited to conducting Instructor Training • Should be encouraged to teach the individual modules

  6. Instructor Standards • Company instructors should conduct at least one class per quarter or four classes per year • ATCs provide opportunities for instructors to accomplish the USAREC goal • AFTB classes may be included during FRG meetings • FRG Leader may also be the company AFTB Instructor

  7. Level I Correspondence Course • USAREC Specific Course • Developed by USAREC Family members, Soldiers, and civilians for USAREC Family members living away from Army installations • Certificates of Completion Awarded

  8. USAREC Specific Programs Future Soldier (FS) Training FS from the Louisville Recruiting Company enjoy a communication class Sustains interest in the Army Allows volunteers to use their AFTB skills Together Everyone Achieves Mission
