  5. Water Matters Booklet FAQs WHAT IS THE BOOKLET FOR? A new booklet called ‘Water Matters’ was published on the 22nd June 2007. It is aimed at the general public to tell them about water issues in their area so that they can give their opinion on what should be done. The water areas in the booklet are called River Basin Districts (RBDs for short). IS EVERYONE IN CAVAN IN THE SAME RIVER BASIN DISTRICT? No. Different parts of County Cavan fall into 4 different River Basin Districts. Because of this we have 4 versions of the booklet; one version for each of the following River Basin Districts: Shannon International RBD, North Western International RBD, Neagh Bann International RBD, and Eastern RBD. HOW DO I KNOW WHICH VERSION OF THE BOOKLET I SHOULD GET? To make sure you get the correct version of the booklet you should identify which river basin district you live in from the map provided (below). Some people may of course be interested in more than one RBD. CAN I GET THE BOOKLET ON THE INTERNET? Yes, the booklet is available over the internet. To download a copy go to www.cavancoco.ie/watermattersand follow the links to the version of the booklet you require.
