2. Johnny(Johnnycake) • I Consider my friends my family more than my real ones. I feel alone sometimes I run away from the fight. I shot one of the socials for self defense or that is what ponyboy says I did. I feel wrong for doing it. I risked my life for these kids because I didn’t want them to end there life so early.”Ain’t you about to freeze to death,Pony?” I am also a caring person.

3. PonyBoy Curtis • Ponyboy doesn’t like fighting. When found out Johnny killed the socials. He was almost sick to his stomach. Ponyboyis the youngest out of three brothers. His brothers are darry and sodapop.He still is in school but his brother sodapop dropped out. His favorite poem was “stay gold” by Robert Frost. The reason he said he liked it cause he never understood it so it was easy to remember.His favorite book is “gone with the wind". He reads it to Johnny.

4. Darry • I am the oldest of three brothers. My parents died and left me responsible of ponyboy and sodapop. Sometimes I may seem ruff but that is because I have to be the responsible one in the family. I didn’t mean to hit ponyboy I was just frustrated cause I really care for ponyboy and want him to be safe. I am now the hard worker in the family and I like working on cars and hanging out with the greasers.”theydidn’t hurt you too bad ,did they? 5. Dally • Johnny was my best friend.I didn’t know what to do when Johnny died. I like messing with the social girls. I am a nice guy ponyboy always sticks up for me. I like hanging out with ponyboy and sodapopeven though I don’t like kids that much. I robbed a store the day Johnny died I wanted to die or else I would have pulled out the gun at the cops because I knew it wasn’t loaded. I wanted to see the greasers one last time that is why I called them. I wasn’t afraid to start a fight.” Oh,my,my”- Dally looked bored-”you’ve got me scared to death”
