  1. Lessons From the Blind Beggar • Christ is no respecter of persons “For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called” (1 Cor. 1:26). “Be of the same mind toward one another. Do not set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own opinion” (Rom. 12:16). “Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, And the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped” (Isa. 35:5).

  2. Lessons From the Blind Beggar • Beggar Knew He Was Blind “And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment” (John 16:8). “And having been perfected, He became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him” (Heb. 5:9). “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven” (Matt. 7:21).

  3. Lessons From the Blind Beggar • Beggar Had To Wait for The Lord “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest” (Matt. 11:28). “Seek the LORD while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near” (Isa. 55:6). “We then, as workers together with Him also plead with you not to receive the grace of God in vain. For He says: "In an acceptable time I have heard you, And in the day of salvation I have helped you." Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation” (2 Cor. 6:1-2).

  4. Lessons From the Blind Beggar • Beggar Called on the Name of the Lord “But why do you call Me 'Lord, Lord,' and do not do the things which I say?” (Lk. 6:46). “And now why are you waiting? Arise and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord” (Acts 22:16). • Romans 10:8-17

  5. Lessons From the Blind Beggar • Beggar Was A Humble Man “And the tax collector, standing afar off, would not so much as raise his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, 'God, be merciful to me a sinner!” (Lk. 18:13). “Likewise you younger people, submit yourselves to your elders. Yes, all of you be submissive to one another, and be clothed with humility, for ‘God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble.’ Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time” (1 Pet. 5:5-6).

  6. Lessons From the Blind Beggar • Beggar Had An Active Faith “For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but faith working through love” (Gal. 5:6). “For though I am absent in the flesh, yet I am with you in spirit, rejoicing to see your good order and the steadfastness of your faith in Christ” (Col. 2:5). • Stood Up To Pressure • Matthew 5:11-12; John 9:31-34

  7. Lessons From the Blind Beggar • Faith Made the Blind Man Whole “You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only” (Jas. 2:24). “He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him. But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name” (Jn. 1:11-12).

  8. Lessons From the Blind Beggar • Beggar Had To Be Brought To The Lord “No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day. It is written in the prophets, ‘And they shall all be taught by God.’ Therefore everyone who has heard and learned from the Father comes to Me” (Jn. 6:44-45). “But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. (1 John 1:7).

  9. Lessons From the Blind Beggar • Blessings Received Immediately “And immediately he received his sight, and followed Him, glorifying God. And all the people, when they saw it, gave praise to God” (Lk. 18:43). “Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us” (Eph. 3:20). “And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work” (2 Cor. 9:8).

  10. Lessons From the Blind Beggar • The Beggar Was Grateful “And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, returned, and with a loud voice glorified God, and fell down on his face at His feet, giving Him thanks. And he was a Samaritan” (Lk. 17:15-16). “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Rom. 3:23). “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” (Jn. 3:16).

  11. Lessons From the Blind Beggar • Beggar Influenced Others For Good “And immediately he received his sight, and followed Him, glorifying God. And all the people, when they saw it, gave praise to God” (Lk. 18:43). “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven” (Matt. 5:16). “Your glorying is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump?” (1 Cor. 5:6).
