Background & Purpose of ASPIA • ASPIA was formed in 2008 • Primary focus was to seek representation to key Government stakeholders • Develop a close relationship with the ATO • Encourage a more collegiate environment • Move the industry to self-regulate and be self-complaint in support of Government initiatives

Background & Purpose of ASPIA • Establish a code of Conduct that embodies the following; • Respect for the Public Interest • Ensure all members act with integrity. • Duty to maintain the truth, accuracy and in good taste. • Protect the professional reputation of another member. • Duty of disclosure. • Encourage the exchange of knowledge, information and experiences to the benefit of the Industry. • Cooperation with fellow members. • Client Transitioning arrangements • Letter • Spreadsheets
