Pre K-2 Secondary Grades -Restate, create, and use definitions in mathematics to express understanding, classify figures, and determine the truth of a proposition or argument. -Read mathematical presentations of topics within the Learning Results with understanding. -Use Numerals and symbols (>, <, =, +, -) to report numerical data and relationships. MLRs Grades 3-4 -Using simple tables and graphs to communicate ideas and information in presentations in a concise and clear manner. Grades 5-8 -Translate relationships into algebraic notation. -Use statistics, tables, and graphs to communicate ideas and information in convincing presentations and analyze presentations of others for bias or deceptive presentation.
