  9. “You”- 5 ways to say “you” in Spanish 1.) tú – singular, informal (familiar) used with friends, family, pets 2.) usted– singular, formal Used with teachers, elders, strangers, etc. (can abbreviate to Ud.) 3.) vosotros – ONLY USED IN ESPAÑA you guys (just to males or a mixed group) plural and informal. Used with more than one friend, etc.

  10. 4.) vosotras– ONLY USED IN ESPAÑA used only to address more than one female. 5.) ustedes– “you guys” in Latin America. Can be just males, just females, or a mixed group. In Latin America “ustedes” can be formal or familiar.
