  3. Readiness Quiz • 1. list the four types of care you will provide for the baby: • FEEDING • BURPING • ROCKING • DIAPER CHANGE

  4. 2. List 3 other sounds the Baby makes: Coo Cough Breathing

  5. 4. Baby will record neglect if it takes you longer than • 2 two minutes to care for the baby

  6. 5. • Although real infants may be fussy for long periods of time, Baby will not be fussy for more than • 3 Three minutes

  7. 6. List two things that happen if Baby is roughly handled, abused, or its head is not supported • Baby cries hard • The electronics records the event and it lowers your grade

  8. 7. There are many thins that you can do to prevent rough handling and head support failure. List two: • Do not juggle too many things at once, • Do not throw Baby in the air, • Do not let other people hold the Baby • Do not leave Baby unattended • Do not let anyone Shake the Baby

  9. 8. List three things that can permanently stain Baby’s skin: • Newsprint and magazines • Pens and Markers • Clothing dye – especially new unwashed jeans and sweatshirts

  10. 9. What can you do to help protect Baby from stains? • Keep Baby clothed • Keep Baby wrapped in a blanket

  11. 10. • How can you simulate bathing Baby? • Use baby wipes • A damp washcloth • NEVER USE WATER OR LIQUIDS ON THE BABY
