  1. Title: Engaging New Nurses Research question: How do perceptions of structural empowerment (SE) and PsyCap influence new graduate nurses’ work engagement (WE)? Key findings: SE and PsyCap were significant independent predictors of WE Both SE and PsyCap explained 38% of the variance in WE Implications for practice and policy: Engagement is likely to occur when nurses have access to empowering work conditions as well as intrapersonal resources (PsyCap).
