  1. Worldwide stocks: sites.google.com/view/mushroom-stocks-canada/home Mushrooms are one of the most versatile and nutritious foods on earth. They have been cultivated worldwide for centuries, but their true magic is just now coming to light. Mushrooms have a variety of health benefits that make them an essential part of any diet! In this blog post, we will explore mushroom cultivation from start to finish, as well as some popular types and the benefits they offer. The worldwide population boom has led to an increase in global demand for mushrooms- -a whopping increase. This increased demand means more productivity worldwide to meet our needs. However many producers are not able keep up with these demands due, because production rates haven't changed much over time and climate change is affecting sustainability levels. Mushrooms so cultivated come in many shapes, sizes, and colors. There are also a lot of different types! Here is the list: oyster mushrooms (which go by this name because they have an "oyster" shape), portabella or crimini mushrooms which resemble those used for pizza toppings, button or white mushrooms that can be eaten raw with dips like hummus or tzatziki sauce, shiitake which has been praised as some countiry’s healthiest foods; enoki which looks like long strands of ribbons hanging down from a tree branch. Mushroom Cultures and the Benefits of Mushroom Cultivation have gained popularity in various places lile; mushroom stocks canada, mushrooms of ontario, mushroom dispensary toronto The reasons for its popularity are many; cultivation of mushroom has its own benefits, one of which is the fact that it can produce mushrooms that look very much like a natural product (i.e. it's edible). Some countries even export mushrooms that look very much like ordinary food, so-called as fake chocolates, and thus have given the mushroom a new place among food items. Another reason why cultivation of fungi is popular worldwide is because it's extremely easy to cultivate fungi. Mushroom cultivation, just like other forms of science, is relatively simple, allowing almost anyone to grow mushrooms (although the actual process of growing them may vary slightly between different species of fungi). The only requirement for cultivating mushrooms is a rich substrate such as bark, straw, hay, or wood chips and water. It is also important that you make sure that your substrate is completely sterile (and preferably organic) in order to prevent any infections or diseases. Cultivating Fungi of Various Types There are two main types of mushroom cultivation: Cultivation of wood-decomposing fungi and Cultivation of polytrichaetas. Woods decomposing fungi are usually grown on organic waste materials like sawdust or straw. Polytrichaetas on the other hand are usually cultivated on a bed of sterile soil (soilless 1/2

  2. medium), where they feed on undigested wood. The advantage of growing fungi on straw or sawdust is that the material contains oxygen, so that it encourages the growth of microorganisms that normally break down plant matter. Cultivation of morels is also very common these days, since mushrooms have become quite popular and commercialized. Morels are small, white, sweet-looking mushrooms that are cultivated mostly in the South America and Eastern Asia. Morels can be either cultivated on their own (by cutting them into rounds) or mixed with powdered root (for them to grow taller). Cultivated morels have a milder flavor than wild-cultivated morels; however, if you're looking for the real deal, then cultivated morels taste just as good as wild cultivated ones. 2/2
