  2. User Feedback • In order to facilitate improvements to job seeker functionality in JobQuest, we solicited feedback from users and collected data on their behavior online. • Google Analytics • Online survey • Focus groups • Thank you to JobNet, ValleyWorks in Lawrence, and Workforce Central in Milford and Southbridge for helping with the focus groups.

  3. Google Analytics • JobQuest statistics for January 2013: • 72,732 unique visitors • 134,848 visits • 49.08% of visits were from new visitors • 50.92% of visits were from returning visitors • Only 18% of users came to JobQuest through a search engine Top 10 Cities in Which JobQuest Users Were Located in January 2013

  4. Online Survey Findings • Quantity and quality of jobs on JobQuest were comparable to other job sites (prior to the recent update) • E-mail is preferred method of receiving job matches • Ability to personalize the job search aid is important to users

  5. Focus Group Findings • Job search functionality is the primary reason for visiting JobQuest – users want to be able to access this feature quickly • Users want jobs to be e-mailed to them – they seldom log in to check job matches • Need to better promote workshops online – found out about them through CCS, not JobQuest • Want more information on how to use the site • Few had posted a resume on JobQuest
