  7. LSMS_Template.mdb LSMS feeds LSMS Path automatically! At this level we will take care of Step 1 (Barcode specification) and 2 (ID & password). You need to do this only once.

  8. LSMS_Template.mdb: BC Specification Fill the Barcode Length and the Barcode Prefix. Check mark the two boxes on the left. Click Save.

  9. LSMS_Template.mdb: ID & x-word The report.mdb should not be running during installation. ID & password: You can leave these blank. Or you can fill only ID. Click Install. Locate where the reports.mdb is.

  14. Copy the template to use: KEEP the template as is. Rename Copy and paste

  18. Run LSMSMacro (TEST AA_ShelfList) • Generate a sound (BEAP). • Run the query (AA_ShelfList). • 3. Transfer it to LSMS. • 4. Quit report.mdb. LSMS should not be running!!

  19. Ready for Shelf-reading / inventory. • Click Start LSMS. • Start / finish the session • with books in good order.

  32. Item not found • First search the book with the barcode. If you were able to locate an item with the barcode, check the call number in the system. • If the barcode does not retrieve any item, search the book with the call number.
