(Swets) • The ALPSP Learned Journals Collection (in partnership with Swets) is an initiative whereby smaller ALPSP member publishers work together, through Swets, to sell a combined package of their journals to consortia and other large customers • Swets is the world’s leading information services company. Our products and services power the work of professionals and students in thousands of academic, corporate, government and medical organizations across the globe

ALJC 2008 Collection Details • Quality of the collection • 90% of the titles included in the Collection are peer reviewed journals • Many are ranked in the top of their group for ISI Impact Factor • Many are official journals of the societies • Approximately 40% of the collection is indexed in ISI • The remaining 60% represent practical application and/or interdisciplinary journals • 100% are indexed in SwetsWise

Licensing • A Single License Approach to content from multiple publishers • Based on the John Cox License model • Institutions may: • Provide single printed or electronic copies of single articles at the request of individual Authorised Users • Supply to another library a single copy of an individual document • Authorised Users may: • Search, view, retrieve and display the Licensed Materials • Electronically save individual articles or items of the Licensed Materials for personal use • Print off a copy of parts of the Licensed Materials
