  2. Where are you headed after high school? • Are you going to college? • Are you going to land a job? • You will need to find some type of employment. • Jobs are available in Finance, Accounting, Marketing, Human Resources, Production, Technology, or Sales.

What are your passions? • Which department will give you the most exposure to interesting work? • Create a personal comparison chart of personal likes and dislikes of identified tasks for the position. • Analyze whether the position would fit your needs • Team work: being able to work with every employee of the company.

  4. Interests/Skills • Advertising – Marketing • Money – Accounting • Writing - Newsletter

  5. Input • Relevant • Opinions stated in a positive manner • Treat each other as equals – you are teammates

  6. What to know! • What is your daily assignment going to be? • Who is going to be your supervisor? • How much money are you going to be paid? • Where does you specific job fit into the operation of the business as a whole? • Are you going to have people working under you?

  7. Application Process • Provide an up to date resume • Cover Letter (letter of introduction) Include information on why you are the best person for the position. • Letters of recommendation (2)
