Domestic Violence and Mental Health ConferenceHackney Refugee Forum’s Health Steering group What can be done to prevent and overcome the impact of Domestic Violence on our Mental health? • Raise awareness of what Domestic violence (i.e range as highlighted in ‘other forms’) • Reduce stigma the stigma of Domestic Violence • Stop ‘blaming’ the perpetrator • Increase safer places to talk about Domestic Violence • More Relationship/Family/Carer therapy • Counselling for Childhood and Adulthood experiences
