1. Cultures of Giving- Latinos Unidos
4. National HIP Funders’ Collaborative Funder-driven initiative that pools dollars from foundation, corporate, government and individual donors to support capacity-building among Latino-led nonprofits in the U.S. and Latin America.
Responds to the ongoing inequities in philanthropic funding of Latino organizations, and grows from a theory of change that building stronger Latino-led nonprofit organizations will build stronger Latino communities.
As of April 2008, the Collaborative has raised more than $36 million from 162 donors in 18 sites across the U.S. and Latin America.
Grants have been made to 458 Latino-led nonprofits.
5. Arizona HIP Funders’ Collaborative A fund held at ACF seeded with gifts from ACF funds.
The Stardust Charitable Fund offered a 1-to-3 matching grant of $250,000 pledged over three years, beginning in 2006.
