The Characteristics of Chinese Medicine Tao道 • Natural remedies: Acupuncture; Herbology; Tuina—massage, spinal manipulation (chiropractic), bone setting; Mind-body: Qigong, Tai Chi • Gentle: adjusting to balance, in stead of suppressing or “killing the bacteria, or cancer cell” • Target the body’s reactions, and constitutions, activate patient’s own healing ability, in stead of targeting specific pathogen.
