For safe use of this product, please read through all the information in this User Guide, including the warnings, cautions, and instructions, before continuing. Improper use of this product will cause malfunction or breakage, and may cause accidents.   9. OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS ! Warning! • When not in use, push the Power button to turn off. (battery may discharge) • Please check for obstacles before operating. • Even in an emergency situation, do not shut off the power. The cart can brake suddenly as needed. OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS ①External Power Outlet: AC Power Input (Charging, heating/cooling) ②Touch Screen: Hot/Cool control and electromotive control ③Smart Card: used for granting permission to operate, Information storage for patient meals ④USB: Temperature & Event Data Confirmation, ⑤ Battery Charge: Displays charging status ⑥ Emergency Switch: Stops car during operation in the even of an emergency ⑦Front Touch Sensor: When lower speeds are necessary because of risk of danger, applying pressure to the sensor will lower the driving speed ⑧ Power Switch: Used to turn the Touch Screen ON/OFF Red light: Lights up red when AC power is on Green light: Lights up green when monitor is on ⑨ Hot/Cool Function Check Light: Lights up when Hot/Cool function is in use, turns off when not in use ⑩ Forward/Reverse Throttle Handle: Pressing the right button drives cart forward, Pressing the button a little harder will increase forward speed. Pressing left button drives cart in reverse, pressing a little harder will increase reverse speed. EmoS10

  11. OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS Attention! ! • Applying excessive force to the front screen can cause damage, and lead to malfunction. Turning Screen On 1. Plug in AC power cable, and check that the Power lamp lights up red. 2. If the ACpower cable is not connected, thePower lamp will not come on. However, if you press the power switch with battery charge, the screen will turn on (Electromotive Type). 3. Lightly press the power button, and the green lamp lights up as the screen turns on.   12. OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS 4. When the login screen appears on the display, hold up the Smart Card to the Smart Card panel for about 2 seconds. 5. It may take about 1 min. to 1 min. 30 sec. to see the login screen. 6. The Smart Card must be within 5cm of the Smart Card panel to recognize and verify. ! Attention! • Please note that the cart will not function without the Smart Card, so avoid misplacing it Turning Screen Off • While turned on, lightly press the Power button, and • the Power lamp will change to red as the screen turns off EmoS12

Pressing button again will stop operation. ① Hot Storage Temp: Displays desired temperature for warm storage. ② Cool Storage Temp: Displays desired temperature for cold storage. ③ Hot Temp Display: Shows internal temperature for Hot compartment. ④ Cool Temp Display: Shows internal temperature for Cool compartment. ⑤ External Temp Display: Uses externaltemperature sensor to measure internal food temperature. Temperature will only be displayed when pressing the red button on the external temperature sensor. ⑥ Save Data: Saves your settings to a USB flash drive in the USB port ⑦ ⑧ Drive: Pushing this button will switch to Electromotive Driving mode (Electromotive type).   14. OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS Deodorization Button : Used to remove odors inside a room. Timer function available (Max. 60 min) ⑨ Timer Button : Used to automatically schedule up to 4 functions. Timer function available (Max. 120 min) ⑩ Temperature Conversion Lamp: Used to verify ℃ or ℉ usage. ⑪ ⑫ Setting Mode Button : Used to change settings, including desired temperatures, etc. ⑬ Graph Button : Used to display Hot/Cool temperatures via a graph. ⑭ Clock : Used to check current time, and change date/time settings. OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS Screen Functions(Setting) ⑫ ⑬ ⑭ ⑪ ⑩ ⑨ ① ⑧ ② ⑦ ⑤ ③ ④ ⑥ ① Hot Storage Temp Settings: Set from range of 50℃~120℃ (122℉~248℉) Cool Storage Temp Settings: Set from range of -5℃~25℃ (23℉~77℉) ② ③ Hot/Cool DT Setting: Hot/Cool activates when difference in temp. reaches this value. Default settings: 2(℃), 4(℉) ④ Hot/Cool DL Setting: Value indicates length of time before applying set temperature. Default settings are all 0. ⑤ Offset Settings: When there is a deviance between desired and actual Hot/Cool temperatures, this is used to correct it. (-10~+10) Default settings are all 0. OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS OK Button: After you’ve finished configuring, press this button to confirm and save user settings, and configuration is complete. ⑥ Back Light: Used to protect the touch screen from burn-ins. Screen will turn off after set period of time, and turn back on upon touch. ⑦ Timer Setting Button: Press this button to set timer. ⑧ Deodorization Function: Press this button to use deodorization function. Can use timer(Max.60mins). ⑨ Electromotive Function : Press this button to use electromotive mode. ⑩ Door Lock Function : Press this button to use door lock mode (some models only) ⑪ Password setting: User can reset password. ⑫ Temperature Conversion Button: Can verify ℃ or ℉ usage. ⑬ Room Settings : Room1 : Changes settings for 2 (Hot/Cool) compartments. Room2 : Changes settings for 4 (Hot/Cool) compartments. Room3 : Changes settings for 6 (Hot/Cool) compartments. ⑭ Warning! ! • Please do not change settings as one pleases. • Default setting is Room1 mode. EmoS16 EmoS

Default temperature settings for Retherm: Hot :100℃ (212℉), Cool : 3℃ (37℉) 3. ② manufacturers use only. 5. Press ③button after finish and change to control mode. ③ ! Warnings! • Do not set ① over 100℃ (212℉). • Over 100℃ (212℉) setting can lead to product damage or malfunction. • If want to change ② mode, please ask Manufacturer. EmoS18 EmoS

  19. OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS SettingBack Light 1. This function is used to protect the touch screen from burn-ins. 2. Press ① button for Backlight settings. ① 3. Press ② and set desired time. Default initial setting time is 1 hour. 4. When finished, press “OK”. 5. Press ③ to return to control mode. ② ③ ! Warnings! • The screen will change to black when backlight function is on, and will return to normal when you touch the screen again. EmoS19 EmoS

  29. OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS Screen Functions (Electromotive Driving) ② ⑧ ④ ③ ⑤ ⑥ ⑦ ⑨ ① Drive button: Pressing the button activates electromotive driving. Pressing again disables electromotive driving. ① Basic Speed Control: Allows you to control speed in 4 steps. ② Rear-view Monitor: Allows you to monitor area behind cart with rear mounted camera.Touching rear-view monitor will change screen size. ③ Rear-view Monitor ON/OFF Button: Turns rear-view monitoringON/OFF. ④ Door Lock ON/OFF Button: Locks the door (Some models only). ⑤ Alarm ON/OFF Button: Allows you to play a melody while driving in reverse. ⑥ ⑦ Back Button: Pressing this button brings you back to the Hot/Cool control mode.   30. OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS ⑧ Battery Residual Display : Red, Yellow, Green : Very Good. Red, Yellow : Good Only Red : Charging required. Warnings ! • Only Red light comes, stop driving and charging immediately. • If not, battery life time will be shortened. ⑨ Patient meal information: Can store/recall patient meal information by smart card.   31. OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS Driving Method ① Press the Hot/Cool operation button, and after it stops, Unplug the AC power cable and confirm that the Power lamp turns off. Drive Button 2.   33. OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS Driving Method Adjust default speed settings for driver. To move forward, lightly press the right button on the handle and the cart will drive forward. Press a little harder and the speed will slowly increase. Forward Drive Button To move in reverse, lightly press the right button on thehandle and the cart will drive in revers. Press a little harderand the speed will slowly increase. Reverse Drive Button To stop, release the button and the cart will stop. EmoS33 EmoS

Warning! • To switch to Hot/Cool mode after you’ve finished driving,please press the Drive button and push the Electromotive Drive button to stop the cart before changing modes as • necessary. ! Warnings • If Electromotive driving is not operating properly, • Please check whether the electromotive lever is in the correct position or not.   35. OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS Tray Storage Please store cold food along the front side, and hot food along the rear side of the cart, on FLAT TRAYs in the respective columns. Hot Compartment Cool Compartment Tray Insertion Insertion (upper) Insertion (lower) Middle (upper) Middle (lower) After Insertion 1. Align the FLAT TRAY onto the protruding edge of the Holder Lever, and push tray gently into the compartment. 2. OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS How To Use ① Please read through the user’s manual, and learn the proper usage procedures before operating.② Please check for damage and status of tires before you continue. Attention! ! - Check tires and wheels for damage before servicing. - Check Hot/Cool compartments for debris and damage before connecting the AC power cable. - Do not store food for a long time. This equipment is not designed for long-term storage. ③ Please operate 30 minutes to 1 hour before serving the food. (Preheat before setting food) [Maintain temperature by setting Hot/Cool compartment temperature] ④ Check the manual shift lever to see the wheel lock status of the cart before use. When stopped on a ramp, never activate the manual shift lever or free-drive switch. ⑤ To ensure safe use and operation, please turn power off after use. ⑥ Check safety precautions before operation. ⑦Use the speed control buttons to adjust to an appropriate driving speed. ⑧ Inspect tires and driving path before leaving. ⑨ Do not operate in difficult or straining circumstances. Warning! ! • If outdoor use is inevitable, please use our waterproofing material. • While driving, please be aware of hazards around you. • Check AC power cable for damage or breakage before use. • [May cause electric shock] ⑩ Please drive as slowly as possible to ensure safe driving ⑪ After use, please turn off the power button and charge the battery for future use. OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS Storage and Maintenance ▶ Storage After Use ① After serving, poweroff and safely store the cart. ② To maintain performance and prevent discoloration, store at room temperature and humidity. ! Warning! - If not maintained and stored properly, the cart may rust, or electrical components may get damaged, resulting in a risk of electric shock. ▶ Maintenance ① To ensure safe operation, please check the conditions of the tires from time to time. ② Once charging is complete, please be sure to unplug the cable to prevent any damage or strain to the cable. ! Warning! - Do not touch the plug with wet hands. There is a risk of electric shock. ③ Do not shake, lift, or otherwise apply any excess strain to the cart. ④ When cleaning the cart, use a soft cloth dampened with water (with mild detergent), and let dry after use. Do not use thinner or benzene, as it may cause discoloration or deformation. ! Attention! - Do not use a hose directly to wash the cart. EmoS37

  38. BATTERY AND CHARGING • The cart uses two 12-volt batteries. • Use the charger mounted in the cart to recharge a dead battery. • - Do not exchange the cart battery with an automobile battery. ! Attention! - Using a charger other than the one mounted to the cart may cause overcharging, and may affect the battery life of the cart. Charge Check - Check Battery Charge display on front panel to check remaining battery life. . Shortage: Needs to be charged. . Charging: Currently charging. . Full: Finished charging. How to Charge ① Press the Power button to turn off. ② Connect the AC power cable provided with the product to connect it to the front panel. ③ Connect the other end to a power outlet with the right power specifications. It will take 6-8 hours to charge. (may differ based on remaining battery life) ! Attention! • Do not charge near areas where there is a risk of fire. • Do not charge while the battery is frozen. If the battery is cold or frozen, let it thaw for a few days before charging. • Do not use manual driving while battery is charging. It may cause damage to the cart or the AC power cable. EmoS38

BATTERY AND CHARGING Replacing the Battery ① Switch off circuit breaker. ②Remove battery cover. ③ Disconnect cables from battery terminals ④ Remove old battery. ⑤ Insert new battery. ⑥ Connect the red cable to the positive (+) battery terminal. ⑦ Connect the black cable to the negative (-) battery terminal. ⑧ Put the battery cover back on, and switch on the circuit breaker. Battery Circuit Breaker Switch (Up: on, Down: off) Battery Cover ! Attention! - Switch off the brake circuit when not in use for long periods of time to avoid the battery from discharging. ! Warning! • Battery terminals and other components associated with batteries are made of lead or have lead-containing water.Please wear safety glasses and gloves when handling batteries.Please be sure to wash your hands after handling the battery. • The cart uses a battery that weighs about 12.6Kg. Avoid straining to lift it, as it may cause bodily injury. EmoS39

  40. BATTERY AND CHARGING Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) ① Is it okay to use a charger from a different manufacturer? In order to ensure your safety and proper performance, we recommend that you use the charger that was supplied with your cart. Attention! ! • We cannot guarantee the performance of a third-party battery. • ②How often should the battery be charged? • If you use the cart every day, please charge each day after use. • If you don’t use the cart very often, please make sure to charge fully once a month. • Do not leave the battery in a completely discharged state. • ③ Why doesn’t the newly replaced battery work as well • Please charge battery all the way up to full before using. • After completely discharging and recharging 5 or 6 times, the battery will reach 100% capacity and achieve its maximum battery life. • Until the battery reaches 100% capacity, please use in moderation for about one week. • ④ How should I maintain the battery when not using the cart for long periods of time? • Before storing the cart, charge the battery to full, and switch off the circuit breaker switch.   41. CONVENIENCE Rear Camera • - Provides a field of view behind cart while driving in reverse to prevent accidents. Front Touch Sensor - To drive slowly, or when there is risk of danger, apply a little pressure to the touch sensor to slow down the driving. Front Touch Sensor ! Warning • By default, the Front Touch Sensor is configured to set the speed to 10%. • When pressure is applied to the sensor, speed is reduced, and when it is released, the cart will • return to normal driving speed. • (Please check surroundings for hazards and check safety precautions before releasing the sensor in order to minimize risk of crashes and accidents.) CONVENIENCE Emergency Switch - Press this switch in the case of an emergency, when an obstacle comes into the path of the cart, or any other urgent matter. - Once you press the button, the cart will come to a sudden stop in about 30cm. - When you have determined that it is safe to operate and drive again, press the Electromotive Drive button Off and On again to resume.
