Would do well if not needing high-level MS Excel features (pivot tables and conditional formats, although gNumeric is close to being able to do this too). All allow pdf export. Base – Access-like DB, can also connect to MySQL, Firebird, PostgreSQL and utilize ODBC, JDBC, ADO, etc. Calc – Spreadsheet Draw – Graphics and diagrams (XML based) Impress – Slide Shows Math - equation editor for text documents Writer – Word Processor
