  4. Typical Schedule • Flow of Day • Wake up • Breakfast 8:00 am (Hoppers @ 7:30) • A.M. classes • Lunch 12:00 pm (Hoppers @ 11:30) • P.M. classes • Dinner 5:30 pm (Hoppers @ 5:00) • P. M. activities

Dates to Remember Wednesday, October 22, 2014—Friday, October 24, 2014 • Leave Wednesday, October 22nd • Arrive early (by 8:00 a.m.) • Students check in at the stage • Parents help pack • Board buses at 8:20 a.m. • Arrive at Taft between 10-10:30 a.m. • School will send a blast message that we arrived • Return Friday, October 24th • Board buses after lunch • arrive Erickson approximately at 2:00 • Parents help unpack the luggage

Rain Gear Gym Shoes (2) Light Gloves (2) Hat(s) Clothing for 3 days Dress in layers for the weather MUST have long pants for daytime and nighttime classes Sleeping bag/Pillow Jacket Towels/Washcloth (2) Toiletries Deodorant Disposable Camera Medications A Book Card Games Pencil (for journal) Bug Spray What to Bring… Necessary Items

  9. What NOT to Bring… Unnecessary Items • Food and Drinks • Cell Phones • Laptops • Flashlights IPODs/MP3 Players and other electronic devices may be brought for the bus rides only. Be sure that names are ON the items.

  10. Accommodations • Clarkson (North/South) • Open room • Minimum 2 adults with each group • Bunk beds • Dorm style bathroom with 3 showers, 4 toilet stalls, 3 sinks • Heckman • Apartment style • Approximately 6-8 students to a room • Showers/ Toilet/ Sink set-up • Bunk beds in rooms

  11. Meals • Served Family Style • All you can eat of most items • Breakfast • Lunch • Dinner • Snacks • Special Diets (please let us know)

  12. Hoppers • Rotate among students, most do it one time, some do it twice • Set tables before meals • Run for food at meals • Help serve food • Clean up after meals

  15. Medical • We handle all medications • Medication will be turned in on Wednesday before leaving. • We need a release form from parent • Nurse on duty during the day • Nurse is on call 24 hours a day

  16. Cost • $118.00 per student • (covers Taft costs and craft items) • Due by Wednesday, October 1st, along with the permission slip and health form.

  17. This will be a great learning experience!!
