  3. Site Ranking • I give it 4 • It was a very fun and interesting internship. I learned what exactly goes into running a radio station. Theres a lot of computer oriented skills needed as well as people skills. I did not have the computer skills going into it but i quickly learned with the help of the staff.

  7. Internship Objectives • Learn how to proudce a show • Learn how to run the board (prodcuers board) • Learn how to set up a remote radio location • Become adequate in editing software for sound and video • Be ready to help wherever needed

Daily Activites • There was no typical day, each day posed something different depending on what sporting events the station was involved in. • I am on call all day with whatever errands my bosses needed me to run, it was generally picking up sports tickets at the stadiums or go to press confrences. • Come in and check e-mail • Look on major sporting websites and see recent sports news • Edit any sound from interviews on the radio shows (typically there were 7 to 8 interviews a day) • On Mondays, I set up remote radio location for the Head Baseball Coach at Rice University, Wayne Graham

  9. Project Description • I took 270 + affiliates and logged their contact information and then logged which programs they air of Sporting News Radio • I had to call the station or search online to aquire this information by using google or use government databases.
