Leadership March is… • When the class of ‘09 hands over ALL Leadership positions to the class of ’10 • Elections and transition for the GBA and all club leadership • Critical for knowledge transfer • An OPPORTUNITY • Your chance to make a difference, to grow, to challenge yourself • To serve your school and our community

  3. The GBA (Graduate Business Association) • Serves as the student executive council of the Goizueta Business School • Charters and supports student run organizations and promotes interaction between current students, alumni, the academic community and the professional community • President, Executive VP, and CFO • Several VPs with specific responsibilities • E.g. VP of Student Activities (Alok Tandon – Social Events) • E.g. VP of Alumni Relations (Aaron Kuney – Mentor Program, Class Gift) • E.g. VP of University Affairs (Dan Cooper – liaison with greater Emory University)

  4. Club Elections • All other Club elections will happen the week after GBA elections • Each club has its own way of electing leadership • Ask club leaders NOW about what positions are available and what each responsibility entails • Each one has a unique time commitment

Leadership March Timeline April March Feb Jan • Tues Feb 17th: GBA Position Description Overview • Tues Feb 24th: Election Process Overview, Nominations Begin • Sun March 15th: Nominations End • Mon March 16th: Nomination Acceptances Due • Tues March 17th: Position Papers Due • Thurs March 19th: SPEECH DAY! 5:30 pm (mark your calendar!) • Thurs March 19th – Sunday March 22nd: Vote! • Mon March 23rd: Announcement of new GBA • Mon March 24th – Tuesday March 31st: All Club Elections • Weds April 1: The reign of the 2010s begins… GBA Position Descriptions and Election Process Overview Today Club Elections GBA Elections
