  2. Achievements of AGNA since Last Seminar on SNA in 2011 • Conducted assessment of national accounts in African countries serving as the baseline for starting the Project • Completed the 2011 ICP as a capacity building program for SNA • Finalized the ProDoc for the Project, which was endorsed and approved by StatCom-Africa and Conference of Ministers • Prioritized and consolidated 14 activities for Phase I of the Project • Established the Continental Steering Committee for the Project • Operationalized the Secretariat for the CSC and for the Project • A series of workshops and seminars on various subjects: including country implementation plans, business registers, SUT, informal Sector, IT tools, administrative data, classifications, etc. organized by different stakeholders

Objectives of the Meeting • To launch the African Project on the Implementation of the 2008 SNA • To review and discussion of the outcomes of • Special Session of AGNA meeting in February 2013 • CSC meeting in September 2013 and • ProDoc for Phase I of the African Project • To agree on • Coordination mechanisms among different stakeholders and • Detailed measures and steps on how to carry out various activities as laid out in the Project

Agenda: Time Allocation • Everyday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. • Four sessions each day: two in the morning and two in the afternoon. • Each session has 1 hour and 15 minutes. • Unless specified in the agenda, please limit each presentation to 15 minutes which applies to all presenters. • Two coffee/tea break each day: one in the morning and one in the afternoon. • Each coffee/tea break has 30 minutes: • 10:15-10:45 (a.m.) and • 3:15-3:45 (p.m.). • Lunch break: two hours from 12:00-14:00 p.m.
