  4. Division Reports • Secondary Student Career Cluster Enrollment Report (SSCCER) • Completer Demographic Report • Preliminary and Final • Student Enrollment Demographic Form (SEDF) • Fall and End of Year reports 4

SSCCER • For the Secondary Student Career Cluster Enrollment Report (SSCCER) the Student Record collection data elements for all CTE students include the CTE Career Cluster codes (1-16) • representing each of the clusters. • The SSCCER had been reported from the Spring SRC and is now part of the End-of-year Student Record Collection. 5

Completer Demographic Report • Student Record collection data elements • for all CTE students: • CTE Finisher codes (1-5) • CTE Special Population codes (4,5,6) • For CTE Finishers: • CTE Competency Attainment Flag (y/n) • Student contact information (phone # and address) • New this year for CTE Finishers: • Career Pathway code (in Appendix K) 6

SEDF Division Report • Review the Student Enrollment Demographic Form Division Verification Report after each Master Schedule Collection (MSC). • Review Data Abnormalities and Teacher Threshold Report pages if any, • Check “Course Minutes” column, • Check “Course Descriptions” for matches based on SCED codes in the MSC. 7

How is SEDF data used? • Providing data for Federal Perkins Reporting • Providing the Board of Education and General Assembly with CTE enrollment data • Providing measures of accountability used in CTE Local plans • Serves as a basis in allocating CTE State funding • Assuring State and Federal OSHA regulations on class size are met

  9. What is new this year with SEDF? MSC provides specific data in SEDF reports There is no spring collection of data End-of-Year collection based on the data from the last day of school All Fall and End of Year collections include data for all classes taught throughout the 2013-14 school year

  10. What’s the same as before in the SEDF? Threshold explanations are entered in the SEDF as in prior years for: classes with over 35 enrollments; and teachers with over 54,000 minutes of CTE instruction reported. Warning: These explanations are erased on each MSC re-submission. 10

  11. What’s the same as before in the SEDF? On the Division Verification Report, Data abnormalities pages display: Class size limits that have exceeded maximum enrollments; and Classes with over 35 students. 11

  13. Division Annual Performance Report • Provides information on Perkins measures and performance • Used in the preparation of the CTE Local Plan 13

  14. Data Analysis Report Provides information on Perkins measures for divisions having more than on high school to review school level performance. 14

  15. Summary Good review of data in your information systems now will provide all stakeholders with accurate information for funding allocation and decision making. Also, it is easier to get it right when the data is validated early.
