INTRODUCTION • Nov 2007 • HSBC Bank Malaysia becomes first locally incorporated foreign bank to be awarded licence to set up an Islamic Banking Subsidiary by the Central Bank of Malaysia. • August 2008 • HSBC Amanah Malaysia commences operations. • April 2009 • HSBC Amanah Shah Alam opens. • Operation hours : Mon-Fri (10:30am – 7:30pm) Sat-Sun (10:30am – 5:00pm)

CEPS Booth proposal • For Students • Scheduled booth opening during each student intake • 1-stop account opening onsite – ATM card and telebanking issued immediately • Scheduled as part of students’ orientation to integrate process • Packaged as a value-added service exclusive for Al-Madinah students
