  4. How does it work? • A mixture of various components enters a chromatography process, and the different components are flushed through the system at different rates.

  5. Uses • It can be used in crime scene investigations, in hospitals it can be used to detect alcohol levels, to purifies chemicals and can used in pharmacists to determine chemicals in each product.

  6. Why is it so special • Chromatography is a very special separation process for a multitude of reasons! First of all, it can separate complex mixtures with great precision.
