Bozyazı is a small and sweet Mediterrenean district which was founded in the south side of Toros Mountains. As it isnt known by the tourist and it couldnt reach the mass tourism , it is calm and clear. In Bozyazı the sea is very clear so Mediterrenean Seals which was in danger of extinction and carette carettas live here The most important source of income is growing banana because the land is very fertile. Othere source of income is flower growing, peanut growing and fishing. Bozyazı is famous with its greenhouses. You can find every vegetables in each season.
SOURCE OF INCOME The main source of income is farming products mostly banana and vegetables.
Mersin Bozyazı Halk Eğitimi Merkezi carries out various courses and education activities for the citizens of all ages and education levels. The courses the centre provides are literacy courses, socio-cultural courses and vocational-technical courses. The social and cultural courses enable the participants with the information they need in general education subjects and reduce the social and cultural differences considering the immigrants from other disadvantageous and rural cities in neighbourhood. The vocational-technical courses are arranged according to the requirement and necessities of the people of this region and it supplies employability for them. As farming is source of life in Bozyazı, The centre supply farming courses. The foreign language courses in this centre are available for all ages to get benefits of learning for the active citizenship. There are ICT courses that aim both the adult and young learners. Our institution offers quite a number of possibilities to our learners, with a staff experienced in all these different trainings, all of them high school teachers, really involved in adult learners issues and willing to help them make better in life and experience lifelong learning.

Hakan KAYNAK Müdür Yardımcısı He was born in Niğde in 1974. He studied geography at university with a good grade. Then he became a techer and since 2008, he has been the Assistance of Bozyazı Public CenterHe ismarried and father of two girls.
