  2. Introduction The Health Care Agency Human Resources department hires a high volume of employees every year . Every new hire receives a packet consisting of up to 116 pages.

  3. Going Green In an effort to reduce our paper footprint and expedite the new hire sign up process HCA HR implemented its e-hire process in June of 2010. The packet now consist of less then 25 pages…. • Saves money • Saves time • Frees up storage space • Allows for more efficient management of records

Process Orientation • Go over handouts and verify ID’s and Licenses • Take picture for ID • Walk employee to computer station Website - Electronic Sign-up • Employee is set up on our internal network and provided a login ID and password. This site is protected so that it cant be accessed by anyone outside of HR.

  13. Resources Needed • Adobe Acrobat Pro • Needed to create and convert forms to PDF • Makes PDF forms compatible with adobe reader and allows for employees to sign forms
