  1. 3 IMPORTANT STEPS FOR KEEPING YOUR CHILD SAFE FROM SEXUAL ABUSE

  2. WHAT IS SEXUAL ABUSE? This is a regularly changing world and there are numerous things in it that we might want to protect our children from. The last thing any parent needs to see is their child violated, hurt or in pain. As guardians, we do our best to provide our children with safety equipment, open them to lessons that will give them the instruments to protect themselves and be there for them when they need us. Sadly, we can't be with our children every minute of every day, particularly as they develop and adventure into the world towards freedom. Despite our role as protector, we can just control such a large amount of what will happen to our children BUT we can equip them with the most dominant weapon of all - knowledge and information.

  3. WHAT IS SEXUAL ABUSE? A parent's most exceedingly terrible bad dreams are numerous and having your child fall victim to sexual abuse is perhaps one of the most noticeably awful among them. Is it conceivable to make a child abuse evidence and resistant to the enticements of a perpetrator? There is a lot a parent can do in order to protect their children from this heinous crime even if a child is on the Autism spectrum and they can begin at a very early age. True protection goes beyond telling your socially challenged child not to talk to strangers - true protection lies in creating a child that is internally resistant, a child whose inner strength will make them less vulnerable to the crafty approaches of a child molester. The following suggestions may seem simple because we automatically do them as parents but we often don't realize how powerful they are in keeping our children safe:

  4. 1 - Strive to enhance your child's assertiveness skills 2 - Help your child acquire a capable sense of self 3 - Make sure your child knows what a healthy relationship is

  5. STRIVE TO ENHANCE YOUR CHILD'S ASSERTIVENESS SKILLS: Learning how to be appropriately assertive rather than aggressive or passive is one of the best gifts we can give our children.  People who search out children for their very own twisted designs are depending on them to be uninvolved and won't invest energy grooming a child  who is probably going to talk up for herself. We can start this procedure at the early age of two or before when our little cherubs take their first step towards assertion by discovering the word "no". This straightforward word contains much power and could be the one thing that guards them. Just encouraging your child to take a look at the shade of an individual's eyes when talking with them will influence them to seem certain and confident. This might be a troublesome assignment for most children with Autism yet it is possible whenever polished perseveringly. Try to show your child the correct harmony among assertiveness and aggression and still stay respectful. This is the reason great social skill training is important.

  6. HELP YOUR CHILD ACQUIRE A CAPABLE SENSE OF SELF: Children who seem fit are more averse to be focused by people who go after children. These people are looking for individuals who are powerless, the individuals who appear to be vulnerable. Helping your kid become free is your activity and the sooner you nurture appropriate independence the better.  As you teach your children to get things done for themselves as opposed to do it for them, their certainty develops. Don't ever hesitate to help your child learn and master a new task if you think they are ready because the feeling of "I can do it without anyone else's help" is incredible and will fill in as one more layer of assurance from the hands of a perpetrator.

  7. MAKE SURE YOUR CHILD KNOWS WHAT A HEALTHY RELATIONSHIP IS: Your child must have an exact feeling of what constitutes a healthy relationship so as to have appropriate instinctual learning - a gut feeling - of what is typical. Perpetrators invest a lot of their energy attempting to persuade their planned unfortunate victim that "this is the thing that individuals do when they care about each another". Their prosperity lies in their attempts to standardize the obtrusive behaviours they use to set up their potential exploited people. Be quite certain and ensure your child realizes that a healthy relationship does NOT require keeping secrets, uncomfortable touches and insidious remarks. This will guarantee that these messages fail to receive any notice. They will realize that "ordinary" does not mean consistent allurement with gifts, atypical attention, special favors or uninvited physical contact.
