  2. 2 In the Span of 10 years: • * The Members of the Center (We) educated • 72 PhD/MSc students • 41 Postdocs • 13 of them have academic positions in Israel and elsewhere in the world! • * We, The Members, published: • > 750 papers: • Some of these papers are highly cited or “hot” papers in chemistry. • • & Three of the members have been listed among the most highly cited chemists worldwide. • We raised >10,000,000 USD in research money.

Intense Scientific Activity & 4 Programs of High Visibility: 4 Yearly Conferences of international flavor (sometimes 2): in 10 years: 14 conferences intense and highly attended The Outstanding Young German Award (OYGA): • Given yearly, in a ballot, to a German quantum Chemist under the age of 40. The Lise Meitner Lectureship Award:• Given yearly, after a ballot, to a Quantum Chemist whose work has had a major impact on the community. The yearly Lise Meitner Junior Prize, given for the best work in CQC done in Israel. This Award is given in the opening ceremony of the AnnualIsrael Chemical Society (ICS) Meeting.
