  1. The Flexible Time Sheet and Attendance Management solution…

  2. e-Log has been developed as a simple solution to record and present time sheet information for each employee.

  3. It works by automatically applying a ‘rounding factor’ for the times of attendance of any job function… …to then produce a weekly time sheet compared against contracted hours for any employee

  4. e-Log also provides:

  5. An on-screen calendar for recording absence through sickness, maternity and annual leave • Comprehensive Reporting on attendance and hours worked • Calculating and Recording holiday hours owed from the hours of attendance

  6. If this describes your needs then… is for you!

  7. Let’s take a look at and see how it works

  8. Rounding Rules Rounding Rules are set against each job function They work by defining a period of time in which a staff clocking may fall – typically a quarter or half hour - and then how it will be treated relative to this period – for example rounded up or down. Some examples follow and will illustrate how Rounding Rules can be applied

  9. Rounding Rules Example The Analysis Period is set to 15 minutes The Rounding Factor is set to 0 minutes The employee’s timesheet appears as follows:

  10. Start and Finish times on each Day worked Analysis Period = 15 minutes Rounding Factor = 0 minutes The 9.26am arrival is shown as 11 minutes into the 15 minute period and with a 0 minute rounding factor 4 minutes of ‘penalty’ are automatically deducted The result being that the person is paid from 9.30am

  11. Rounding Rules Example Rounding Rules can obviously be applied to the finish time as well Let’s continue with this example and use the same Analysis Period and Rounding Factor to show this The employee’s timesheet appears as follows:

  12. Start and Finish times on each Day worked The 5.59pm leaving time is shown as 1 minute into the 15 minute leaving period and with a 0 minute rounding factor 14 minutes of ‘penalty’ are automatically deducted Analysis Period = 15 minutes Rounding Factor = 0 minutes The result being that the person is only paid until 5.45pm

  13. Rounding Rules Example The overall result of the application of these rules is shown within the employee’s timesheet

  14. Standard Rate is the name of the Pay Rate at which these hours will be paid Corrected Total Time is the total number of hours that will be paid on each day – this person could have been paid at 2 or more rates for example The cost can also be shown as the employee’s hourly rate can be recorded on their personnel record Analysis Period = 15 minutes Rounding Factor = 0 minutes

  15. The totals for the week are automatically calculated and shown in the right hand column

  16. Also records staff absence from holidays, sickness and maternity leave… …and also training course attendance

  17. Just by clicking on a calendar… You can define reasons for sickness. This means that you can easily report on how many days have been lost due to any reason… …and how many days each employee has been absent and why

  18. The report shows absence in both days and hours for any employee
