  5. Survivalists Here is a exert of what happens when Megan and Ian encounter the survivalists. In this exert Megan is talking to one of the survivalists.

  6. Setting • Takes place in Alberta • Megan and Ian lived in Fort Macleod • Travelling to Lundbreck • Pass through Head Smashed in Buffalo Jump

Morals of the story • Determination and hard work will be rewarded • In this book Megan is determined to find her Uncle Greg • She works hard to take care of Ian on this long journey • Stick together until the end no matter what happens • Megan and Ian fought but they stuck together because they knew that they couldn’t find their Uncle Greg without each other
