Negative Symbol Confederate Flag Symbol Type: General racist symbol Traditional use/origins: Civil war/old south Hate group/Extremist Organizations: White Supremacists Extremist meaning or representation: White southern pride Background History: Although the flag is seen by some Southerners simply as a symbol of Southern pride, it is often used by racists to represent white domination of African-Americans. The flag is also used by racists as an alternative to the American flag, which they consider to be an emblem of what they describe as the Jewish-controlled government.

  3. Good Luck Symbol Four leaf clover This is a renown symbol that means good luck to the person who finds one. What do the leaves symbolize? One leaf is for FAITH... The second for HOPE... The third for LOVE... And the fourth for LUCK! In Irish tradition the Shamrock or Three-leaf Clover represents the Holy Trinity: one leaf for the Father, one for the Son and one for the Holy Spirit. When a Shamrock is found with the fourth leaf, it represents God's Grace.

Present Significance • Yellow enhances concentration and speeds up metabolism. • People lose their tempers more often in yellow colour rooms and it is the most difficult colour for the eye to take in. History and Lore: To the ancient Greeks, yellow denoted air. Leonardo da Vinci wrote that yellow represented earth. To the Navaho, the western mountains are yellow and bring the twilight. To the Hopi, yellow is north. In India it is the symbol of the merchant and farmer, although at one time it was considered the dress of the ascetic. In some countries Jews were ordered by law to wear yellow clothing because of their alleged betrayal of Jesus. Judas was often depicted wearing a yellow robe signifying inconstancy, jealousy, and deceit. In 10th-century France, the doors of felons, traitors, and criminals were painted yellow.
