Key Issues • Converged Policy Management Network must cooperate in order to implement converged functions for: • Subscriber policy management • Subscriber authentication • Accounting • Support required for: • QoS Control • Local Breakout • Question: Does Policy Management extend to Residential Gateway?

A Use Case • Residential subscriber using broadband fixed network services: • IP telephony • IPTV • Web access (including “Over The Top”) • FemtoCell provides access to mobile network services: • Phone & Messaging • Mobile TV • Mobile Web and Data Issue: The fixed broadband must also support the Mobile services throughput
