CITY GAS • First to introduce City Gas Projects in India • 8 Joint Ventures (JVs) for City Gas Projects in Delhi, Mumbai, Andhra Pradesh, Tripura, Pune, Kanpur, Lucknow, Agra, Madhya Pradesh • Adding more JVs for Rajasthan, Gujarat, Kerala, Karnataka • Plan for large scale CNG/City Gas distribution throughout the country through JVs

GAILTEL • First carrier’s carrier to offer services through a Service Level Agreement • Over 13,000 km OFC Network connecting 175 locations • First to implement DWDM technology for Long Distance Transmission • Bandwidth for Telecom Service providers in Rajasthan, Gujarat, MP, Maharashtra, UP, AP, Haryana, Punjab and Delhi • North-West-Central network corridor accounts for 65 % of India’s long distance traffic • 99.97% availability

SOURCING • Good prospect of sourcing gas from new finds in KG Basin / Mahanadi offshore • Developing long term supply sources (Pipeline and LNG), E & P, Gas Hydrates and CBM • Participating interest in LNG terminals at Dahej, Dabhol, Kochi • Nodal company for pipeline gas imports from Iran and has 40% share in 5 million tones LNG imports from Iran • Pipeline from Myanmar to India through North-East • Import of LNG spot cargos

EXPLORATION & PRODUCTION • Participating interest between 10 to 80% in 17 oil and gas exploration blocks (10 offshore, 7 onland blocks) • Stake in A1, A3 and A7 offshore blocks in Myanmar and Block no. 56 in Oman • GAIL-GSPC have struck oil in the Cambay basin block CB-ONN-2000/1 • GAIL consortium has won 3 CBM blocks in Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh

Ltd. • E & P blocks in Myanmar, Oman • Pursuing business opportunities in South / South – East Asia, West Asia, Russia and Central Asian Republics and African continents in the areas of E & P, Gas Transmission, CNG and City Gas distribution, LNG and Petrochemicals
