  3. Viruses If you download illegaly some music, films or videos you can have some viruses, so be careful. Some web sites ask your permission to download a program or “plug-in.” And they can access to your personal information. Recommendations: -Don’t download anything if you’re not certain it is from a trustworthy source. -If you receive a message from a person you don’t know, don’t open it. -You shouldn’t open the spam on the sites, it can be dangerous and you can have a virus.

  4. CHILDABUSER Risk : Child abusers are people whoagresssexually, physically, mentally or do ill-treatment and neglectchildren. Recommendations : -Shouldn’tcommunicatewithpersonswe know just online -Shouldn’tgivepersonal ,private information likeage, sex, address, phone number…

  5. Sexualwebsite Sexualwebsiteisdangerousbecauseyoung people are upset. Pictures and moviescanbeharmful. There are 500,000 sexual websites on the Internet.70% of men aged overr 24 years old go on Sexual website.

  6. To prevent children who go on sites prohibited to minors, parents can install a parental controls.Parental controls block the entry of some sites such as pornographic sites, with a code that identifies the parents.

How the internet invadeyour life • Whenyou are on facebookyousharepersonal information, whichcanbeharmful if everyoneseesthem. • Whenphotos are posted on facebookor a blog… theystay on the internet, are sharedwith people all over the world, and can’tbedeleted. • If youwant a job, youmustn’t post crazy photos or badremarksbecause the boss can check on the web about you and your life.

  8. Some people are addicted to the internet and stop to work, to cook, to speak to other people and theyonly use their computer to play online games, use facebook… theyare antisocial and they live in a world of theirown.

  10. Risk on social networks Risk : You canbecriticized or become the object of mockery and insult. Recommendations for eachrisk : youshouldn’tpublishobscene news, shouldn’tpublishpersonal information such as youraddress, phone number… if you are harassedyoushould report it to the administrator and last youcandelete publication and commentary.

  11. Inappropriate photos Caution: You shouldn’t post any photos without the permission of adultsbecausetheycanbecaptured . Photos canbedistributed to others or posted on web sites.

ILLEGAL DOWNLOADING When we download illegally, and that parents do not know, we can be seen by the police and be fined 300 000 € and a maximum prison sentence of 3 years will be given to the parent because the prison is prohibited for minors. Illegal downloading exposes your child to discover content that is offensive, violent or pornographic.It is common that files with the name of an animated children's films actually contain X and are not suitable for children.

  13. How to avoid illegal downloading ? A parental control is a software that parents install on family computer (or on the child’s), protected by a password.The functions usually found on parental control softwares are: There are mostly three options: -Prohibited keywords: The program stops access to any page containing one or more keywords in a list prepared (for example sex, xxx ...) -Blacklist : It is simply a list of prohibited sites, usually updated for every connection to the program -Whitelist:This means defining a list of allowed sites.
