    • Can support basic level IP services such as audio and data

    • These small-to-medium sized LANs are good enough to support academic and research services

    • In just over a decade, the number of terminals computer accessibility has risen from 0.1 percent to 0.4%, an increase of 400 percent

    • It indicates changing trends of prioritizing education

    • Pakistan has enough Telecom/Networking Infrastructure in the form of PERN to establish linkage with APAN consortium and contribute to this prestigious education and research community
