History of Eastern Europe - The "Iron Curtain" was spoken by Winston Churchill Said that a Iron curtain had fallen down and that on one side there was the Western side of Europe that was bad and the other side (Eastern Europe that was good) -1948 Russia owned most of Eastern Europe The U.S.A. saw this as a communist way to dominate all of Europe -Russia turns gas off in Ukraine the European Unioin said it was Unacceptable.

The mayor said it was because Elvis showed support for the Hungarians on the Ed Sullivan Show  when he sang "Peace in the Valley" and asked those that were watching to send Packages to Hungary in difficulties after the 1956 uprising. -Romania News-     A developer plans on Replicating the Disney Land, nearby Bucharest, worth 140 Million Euros (us money=$94,585,995.67) and the construction will last about 3 years. -Greece News-     Greek H.R.T. (Hellenic Rescue team) plan on helping in Japan after the Tsunami. They are on Stand-by but the Equipment and the team members are ready to go!
