Vessels chalice 1

Vessels: Chalice (1)

Large, stemmed vessels with a cup-like top used by the priest at Mass to hold the Precious Blood.

Alinen cloth used for wiping the chalice, and the fingers the celebrant after Communion.

Saucer-like dish, frequently matching the chalice, used to hold the Body of Christ

Small, cloth-covered cardboard square placed on top of the priest’s chalice to protect the Precious Blood.
