  2. The Face Behind the Brand…… Meet Elder John W. Isom The Monticello Florida native, and retired army veteran is the • Founder • Creator • C.E.O Of The U-Can! Man, LLC

  3. The U-Can! Man Start Up John Isom joined the Army in 1982. He spent 25 years in the service. During that time, he married Karen Isom, who became a board member of the U-Can! Man, LLC., he became a father of 5, he began teaching Sunday school, and he worked as a teacher/instructor in the Army Recruiting and Retention School. All these tasks helped John Isom develop the U-Can! concept. He brought it to fruition following his military retirement.

  4. Mission of the Organization • Spread the word of God • Bring hope • Strengthen faith • Provide council • Provide mentoring • Evoke confidence • Assist individuals/families • Promote healthy marriages • Create faith based youth programs • Provide families with needed resources

  5. Helping the mission become a realization….. The mission of The U-Can! Man, LLC can continue to be realized with help from The Vine and Branches Foundation, Inc. I am the vine, you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing. John 15:5

  6. Established Need QUESTIONS…….. • Why does The U-Can! Man, LLC need grant assistance from The Vine and Branches Foundation? • How will the foundations mission be fulfilled? • Who would benefit from the received funds?

  7. Answers….. The U-Can! Man, LLC. Is continuously trying to provide guidance, mentoring, and leadership to youth in South GA and throughout Florida (hopefully to expand). Funding would allow the organization to obtain and distribute needed materials, as well as bring in more help. When able, the organization would be able to travel to other churches and venues, to provide motivational outreach services.

  8. Answers continued……. • The two organizations share core values. That will be kept in mind, and programs will be established, and events will be held, all while maintaining the Christian faith that is at the core of the Vine and Branches Foundation, as well as the U-Can! Man, LLC. • These programs will help to assist youth, families, and married couples.

  9. What makes The U-Can! Man, John Isom, Qualified ? • 25 year Army vet • 22 years of marriage • Father of 5 • Licensed minister • Leader of Mount Calvary District Association, representing 10 local churches • Ordained Elder • Author • Sunday school teacher • Junior sociology major at Valdosta State University
