  2. Gifts for Eku roll in during October – thank you everyone for your generosity of spirit A group of diplomats representing countries from around the globe, visited Eku and brought gifts /groceries for the residents

  3. The Department of Rural development and Land Reform reached out to Eku and gave a new urn and some cleaning materials A ladies’ church group had raised R1000 and gave some new bedcovers

  4. Health Audit for Re-Registration of Home Dr Bruwer from the Department of Health conducted a health audit on Eku at the beginning of September. She was very impressed with the cleanliness of the home, and the manner in which transformation and upgrading of the home is happening. Thank you Lena for ensuring our front of house is always spotless Sr Selina has been very busy since her appointment a few months ago, putting all the care practices and policies in place

  5. The CPUT textile and design students have been hard at work designing, cutting patterns, and sewing sleepwear for the Eku residents – thank you for your commitment

  6. Ubuntu Help-Portrait reaches out and takes photographs of all Eku residents and staff and then gives them their printed photographs
